General Sarath Fonseka’s photograph deleted from the Defence Secretary’s website |

The official website of the Defence Ministry, defence.lk, has removed the image of Chief of Defence Staff General Sarath Fonseka when reporting the story of the two coins valued at Rs. 1,000 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army being presented to the President by Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal and General Fonseka on October 3, sources said.
Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa supervises the defence.lk website. Sources further observed that although the photographs of the event carried in newspaper included General Sarath Fonseka, his image was removed from the photograph carried in the defence.lk website as a result of the clash between the Defence Secretary and General Fonseka.
