Reliable sources have revealed that Divaina defence correspondent Keerthi Warnakulasuriya was taken to Germany and provided protection in the city of Munich by a Tamil LTTE sympathizer called Ravi.
Ravi has sponsored Keerthi Warnakulasuriya, who writes patriotic articles in Sri Lanka, to visit Germany. He had also stayed with Ravi in Munich.
Ravi is married to Thushari Priyangika also known as Chula, who fled the country seeking political asylum. Chula used to live in Ragama when she was in Sri Lanka. Soon after her arrival in Germany, she had played an active role as a member of the “Europe Sri Lanka Diaspora.” However, after leaving the organization following a clash with another active member, |

Ranjith Hennayake, she started to work against him together with her husband.
She is the correspondent in Germany for Neth TV that operates from Italy and also provides articles and poems to a cultural website that opposes communalism called “Boondi.lk.”
Ravi and Chula had got Keerthi Warnakulasuriya to Germany to personally attack Ranjith Hennayake, who was known as Badelgama Ranjith during the 1971 JVP insurgency. Ranjith Hennayake is also a close friend of the President as he used to stay with him whenever he visited to Germany while in the Opposition.
Ranjith, who had worked against communalism, is well known among the Sri Lankan community in Germany as a person who worked against the LTTE.
It has been reported to us that in such a backdrop, the articles written by Keerthi Warnakulasuriya in the Divaina newspaper following misleading information given by Ravi and Chula have shocked many of the Sri Lankans living in Germany.
