Campaign to make Gotabhaya Prime Minister launched with a song

The campaign to promote Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse as the Prime Minister after the next general election is to be launched with a song titled, “Yuva Raja Oba” (You are the second king) and orders have been issued to all electronic media to give wide publicity to the song once released.
The song is sung by Amila Perera and Nishantha Thalapage to music composed by Shantha Jayalath. The song is written by Deshamanya Subash Abeywickrema and produced by Director General of the Media Center for National Security, Lakshman Hulugalle.
Lakshman Hulugalle is to also contest at the next general election with Gotabhaya Rajapakse from the Kurunegala District.
The launch of Gotabhaya’s campaign as the second king has placed the likes of current Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake and Prime Ministerial hopefuls Basil Rajapakse, Maithripala Sirisena and Nimal Siripala de Silva in great difficulty.
