UNP Hambantota District parliamentarian Sajith Premadasa says that regardless of the difficulties that have to be faced at the Southern Provincial Council election, the Rajapakses would be taught an unforgettable lesson while protecting the UNP and its members.
Sajith Premadasa made this statement at a press briefing at the Opposition Leader’s Office on August 31.
He said that although the Southern Provincial Council elections are expected to be a free and fair one as it is held in the President’s area, the governing party has unleashed terror since handing over nominations. |

The terror unleashed by the government has resulted in the destruction and burning down of the UNP offices in Horewela Walasmulla and Athpitiy, he said.
Sajith also said that it was shocking and sad that the police has taken steps to destroy only the green flags in the area, leaving behind all the blue ones. |
