Military sources say that LTTE cadres in hiding have launched guerilla attacks against army even after the government claimed to have completely wiped out the LTTE.
Sources from the Palali Hospital confirmed that soldiers wounded in an attack by the LTTE were airlifted to the Palali Hospital seven days ago. The wounded soldiers it is learnt are still being treated at the hospital.
The military source further said that although news of the attacks reach the media, the self censorship practiced by the media in the south has prevented it from publicizing them.
