The Air Force Commander has given permission to give flight training to President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son and Navy officer Yoshitha Rajapaksa on a Presidential directive.

UPFA MP Duminda Silva also known as Kudu Duminda after getting the help of the Defence Secretary to murder underworld leader Navy Asanga, has now solicited the help of underworld leader Navy Ruwan for election work in Colombo for the forthcoming local government election. Navy Ruwan it is learnt was one of Navy Asanga’s disciples.

Shirani Thilekawardena has withdrawn from the Supreme Court bench of judges hearing the fundamental rights petition filed by Law College student Thushara Jayaratne against the President’s eldest son, Namal Rajapaksa, claiming that his fundamental rights have been violated due to the special privileges offered to Rajapaksa as the final law exam held in October last year.
