Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva who celebrated his birthday on September 6^th had told his friends that he would be appointed as the Prime Minister in the next few weeks, reliable sources said.

Minister de Silva has told his friends that the President had recently summoned him to Temple Trees and had a lengthy discussion on current and foreign issues. He has said the President had been pleased with his responses and had assured that he would be appointed as the next Prime Minister in order to get him to serve the country more effectively. De Silva’s friends have applauded at the story.
