Lanka News Web learns of a secret discussion that has taken place between 2.15 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Inamaluwa temple on the 26th.

The discussion had been led by Ven. Inamaluwa Sumangala Thero and attended by businessman and MP Lakshman Wasantha Perera, Inamaluwa Cultural Triangle Director, Head of the Dambulla police IP Janaka Weerasinghe, ASP A.K. Gunasena, DIG in-charge of the Matale Range I.M.I. Abeysiriwardena and three other persons who have not yet been identified.

Three unidentified persons are believed to be from the Presidential Secretariat and they had arrived in two white Prado vehicles. The main aim of the discussion was to discuss the steps to be taken to overcome the growing Muslim dissention in the area over the move to relocate the mosque in Dambulla.
