Lake House puts up cut outs claiming the President is no Maha Raja

The Lake House Chairman who started to erect cut outs around the country following the end of the war with the LTTE conferring the President with the title “Maha Raja” has now started to put up a new set of cut outs publicizing a comment made by the President during the Southern Provincial Council election that he is not the Maha Raja of the country but the custodian.
Lake House trade unions allege that Chairman Bandula Padmakumara was putting up cut outs around the country promoting the President’s image spending millions at a time when the institution was faced with a financial crisis.
