  FMM expresses its concern on listing journalists

  The Free Media Movement (FMM) expresses its serious concern on opinions stated by national and international human rights organisations on a list in circulation under the heading of "media activists, institutional heads and international outreach". FMM has come to know that 28 out of 31 individuals named in the list are related to media.
  Tamil political prisoners in LLF national list

  The Left Liberation Front has nominated three Tamil prisoners accused of taking part in the Tamil national liberation struggle for their national list in the 2010 General election. The LLF national list is led by Dr. Vickramabahu Karunaratne.

  The Tamil National Alliance's current manifesto prefers a federal structure in Sri Lanka to a separate state. It claims shared sovereignty, and that the north and east provinces are the historical habitations of Tamil-speaking people. It further states that the Tamil people are a distinct nationality and are entitled to the right of self-determination.

  Tamil people cannot expect from the Mahinda regime a reasonable political settlement; because India upsets the political settlement process says Bahu. He accused that India and G 20 countries supported Mahinda regime to conduct the war against the Tamil people. He explained thus at the Left Liberation front Kew road office.
